In addition to regular searches of the Express Entry pool for qualifying candidates with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of minimum 400 points, Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is issuing notifications of interest (NOI's) by targeted occupations. As an economic immigration program intended to help Ontario meet its labour market needs and economic development priorities, OINP is also targeting candidates in provincial high-demand skilled occupations. For occupation-specific searches only, OINP notified lowering the required minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score below 400, with the the mention that all other stream eligibility criteria (including work experience in one of the targeted occupations) have to be met for candidates to qualify.
