2018 - 2020 Canada's multi-year Immigration Levels Plan

On November 1, 2017, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released a Notice of Supplementary Information regarding 2018 - 2020 Immigration Levels Plan.

Canada will welcome 310,000 new permanent residents in 2018; 330,000 in 2019; and 340,000 in 2020, for a total target of almost one million new permanent residents over the next three years (this includes economic immigration, family sponsorship, refugees and protected persons, humanitarian and compassionate grounds, etc). IRCC indicates that targets for 2019 and 2020 will be confirmed by November 1 of each year.
