On Romania's National Day, visa requirement lift for citizens of Romania and Bulgaria

As of December 1, 2017, Canada is lifting the visa requirement for citizens of Romania and Bulgaria, who now require an electronic travel authorization (eTA) when travelling to Canada by air.

The effective date of visa lift requirement coincides with the National Day of Romania, celebrated on December 1st.
