The first round of invitations to apply for permanent residence under the Express Entry system of the month of April 2018 brought the highest number of invitations since May of last year.

The tie-breaking rule continues to apply: where more than one candidate reaches the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time of the submission of their respective Express Entry profiles.
