On May 30th took place the first targeted round of invitations to apply for permanent residence under the Express Entry system of 2018.

May 30, 2018 at 14:52:06 UTC -- 200 invitations -- 902 CRS points minimum -- tie-breaking rule March 23, 2018 at 05:38:02 UTC: candidates invited under the Provincial Nominee Program.

The tie-breaking rule applies for targeted invitations: in the event more than one candidate under a targeted program has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time of submission of their respective Express Entry profiles.
